differences:)

We changed something about our pictures to make them into a "wheres waldo" game to hide the differences. I did not go on the downtown mall trip so i dont know what everyone did.

old stuff!

I used the black and white tool, desaturate, sepia, noise, grain, and vinegrette tools. I also added some new brushes to create a coffee stain look. The most important part of the picture when trying to age my work is to make sure that the picture doesnt look modern.

pop art pictures:)

I took these pictures around my house.

carters mountain(but not really)

For these pictures i used the color correct method to make the colors sharpen more. For some, i changed them to black and white and sepia. I added text by using the text tool and using the freeform pen tool to make the text shape to the path.

pop art examples:)

Pop art was originated by Andy Warhol and the most widely known picture is of Marilyn Monroe. Pop art was originated in the 1950s and changed the way people thought about art and culture during that time period. These images stood out to me because they are very bright colored and represent every day people or animals. credit: http://www.bagsoflove.co.uk/images/popart/warhol-style-pop-art.jpg

rule of third examples:)

The rule of thirds is when a picture has lines drawn on it to divide the picture evenly to produce an image that has complete balance. The main part of the picture can be placed to the side or in a specific area to draw the viewers eye to an area.
